Live Your Best Life
"There is not one giant step that does it, it's a lot of little steps"
I am a wife and mother to four amazing daughters. For as long as I can remember I've been passionate about health and fitness so becoming a dietitian was an easy career choice for me. For the past 15 years I’ve worked with seniors to support their nutritional health while maintaining their quality of life. Working in geriatrics has taught me valuable lessons the number one being to live with no regrets. It was with this lesson in mind that lead me to starting my business, PACE Wellness.
I dove into reading personal development books, practicing daily gratitude and striving to live each day with a positive attitude. I saw the positive impact my mindset and lifestyle changes had on my own children and I wanted to share that with others. I became certified as a youth yoga instructor and fell in love teaching yoga and mindfulness to kids. Wherever I could I would incorporate healthy eating and positive mindset into my classes and workshops. I also became certified to teach chair yoga to seniors so they too could enjoy all the benefits of a yoga practice!
At PACE Wellness we have two major focuses. One is to support seniors live healthier and longer lives in their own homes. For many seniors their first interaction with a dietitian is when they move into a long-term care facility. Many times, they are already found to be at nutritional risk. Being able to provide nutrition services and education including meal preparation, special diets and texture modifications while they are still living at home is vital to their overall health. Incorporating chair yoga and mindfulness techniques is an added option to the nutrition services that also contributes to their well-being.
The second focus is to teach yoga to children while instilling the importance of healthy, mindful eating, positive body image and self-care practices. Learning to mindfully nourish and move one’s body at a young age will serve them greatly as they grow!

The words we speak and think mold us into the people we become. Six simple words but one powerful message!
The design for the shirts and tanks came from a simple but really special bedtime routine I began with my daughters a few years ago. I wanted to end their day on a positive note, we discuss their favourite part of their day, share something they are grateful for and then as I kiss them goodnight I say to each of them "be kind, be awesome, be you". It has become our motto and although they are just six simple words the message is powerful. My hope is that they remember and carry the message throughout their lives to help guide them. I believe if we can teach our children to be kind, to be awesome and to truly just be themselves they will live a happy life! If you'd like to share our message please check out the colors and sizes available. Thank you!
