Thank you for visiting my website! For as long as I can remember I've been passionate about health and fitness so becoming a dietitian was an easy career choice for me. However, over the years, I've realized true wellness is much more than exercise and nutrition. It's a lifestyle and mindset where positive thinking, mindfulness, self love and daily gratitude are essential to one's overall health and wellness.

As a mom raising four amazing daughters this realization hit me hard and I believe was the start of a shift in my own wellness journey. As a child, the poem "Children Learn What They Live" was hung on my bedroom wall and as I grew I recognized the truth in those words. Knowing how impressionable children are I committed myself to live the words I believed "wellness" to be. It is one thing for our children to see us being active and enjoying foods without guilt but it is another thing for them to see us take time for ourselves, to journal, to meditate, to be more mindful of our words and recognize the energy that results from striving to live a positive life. 

At PACE Wellness you will see I am passionate about supporting people on their own wellness journey no matter their "pace" or age. Although I've spent the majority of my career working with geriatrics I started my private practice as a way to support people of all ages towards a healthy and fulfilling life.


I'm also certified to teach children's yoga and chair yoga to seniors. Within my classes I strive to instill the importance of healthy, mindful eating, positive body image and self-care practices. Learning to mindfully nourish and move one’s body at every age is beneficial allowing us to live our best life!

A few more fun things about me are:

  • I prefer baking to cooking

  • I'm a self improvement guru as I love reading inspirational books and listening to podcasts

  • I LOVE sports especially hockey and can be a bit competitive, a trait that has passed down to my girls

  • I am a dreamer with lots of ideas for the future

  • Most of all I love being a mom it is the absolute best and most challenging job in the world

Our Story

The words we speak and think mold us into the people we become. Six simple words but one powerful message!

The design for the shirts and tanks came from a simple but really special bedtime routine I began with my daughters a few years ago. I wanted to end their day on a positive note, we discuss their favourite part of their day, share something they are grateful for and then as I kiss them goodnight I say to each of them "be kind, be awesome, be you". It has become our motto and although they are just six simple words the message is powerful. My hope is that they remember and carry the message throughout their lives to help guide them. I believe if we can teach our children to be kind, to be awesome and to truly just be themselves they will live a happy life!
